Getting Started with Mr. Bin app

Download and install the latest version of application from following location

If this is first time install, you should see following screen:

Click Install, then once the application is downloaded, authorize access rights,
as displayed on following screen


Upon installation, you should see a welcome screen with configuration form.
Enter your house address and hit 'Search Now' button, as in the screen below

If your address is within our service areas, you should see following screen:

Using Mr. Bin app

If you enabled alerts, your app should send you visual and sound notifications on selected times. 
To configure alerts, tap 'MY PREFERENCES' button and choose 'Popup Alerts' option. You should see following screen:

Once you set times and pick your sound of choice, hit 'Enable' button. It should show two confirmations for two reminders with scheduled date and time.



Unable to find address

Sometimes users have issues with setting up their address. They typically get following error message on screen below:

This happens when the address is entered in incomplete format and our system has hard time to define the right address. Also this error might appear if the address is located outside USA and Canada. If your house is in service areas (as of May 2015 we cover Toronto, Halton, Peel and York regions) and still get this error, please write us an e-mail - we'll try to help you. 

Not in Service Area

Another common issue is out of service message. It happens when Mr. Bin has not come to the search area yet. Don't panic and just keep the app, because we add more areas every day - the more requests we have for specific area, the higher chances of Mr. Bin becoming your neighbor.
